Onward submission of papers
It is for you, the author, to choose a journal from the
three listed below. When sending your paper to a journal (or, for FPE journal,
a guest editor - see below) please mention that it has also been submitted for
presentation to ECTP, as agreed with the respective journal editors.
The paper will undergo the normal peer review and this
process is quite separate from presenting your paper to ECTP. It is the
author's responsibility to submit his or her paper directly to the journal and
this can be done as soon as possible. In submitting your paper please ensure
that:
- the subject matter is within the scope of the respective
journal
- the paper contains a sufficient amount of new
(unpublished) results
You should follow the style guidelines for whichever of the
three journals, Fluid Phase Equilibria, High Temperatures - High Pressures, or
The International Journal of Thermophysics, you have chosen, but with one
important qualification. Because of their own requirements for printing, the
journals ask that all tables, figures and photographs be kept on separate pages
from the body of the paper. This is not a requirement for submission to ECTP,
and in fact we would ask that all figures, tables and photographs are included
in the body of the paper in the normal way.
Make sure to comply with the style of the journal to which
you submit your paper. The guide for authors for the respective journals
is obtainable from the following websites:
* For FPE journal only please address your paper to guest
